    The seller

    These terms are an agreement between you and Wander Astray, which operates this website and provides the services described below. When you purchase a service from us, you are contracting directly with Wander Astray.

    The service

    Wander Astray provides free route outlines, an automated tool for generating road trip itineraries, and a paid digital itinerary. By using our site or purchasing the full trip plan, you agree to these terms. You must not misuse the service — including unlawful use, fraud, spam, infringement of intellectual property, or attempts to interfere with or probe our systems.

    What you buy

    The only product sold directly on the site is the full trip plan (including any applicable tax, one-time payment. The amount in your local currency is shown before payment and is the amount charged, no subscription). It unlocks every day of the automatically generated trip you drafted for free: a day-by-day route, stops, activities, places to eat and accommodation suggestions at the same level of detail as day 1 of the draft. The content is automatically generated and should be verified before booking. Our ready-made route outlines are free and are not sold. Custom planning and a fully planned trip are arranged by enquiry and are not purchased directly on the site.

    Right of withdrawal

    As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital content under the EU Consumer Rights Directive as implemented in Danish law (forbrugeraftaleloven). The full trip plan is delivered immediately after payment. Before you pay, we therefore ask for your express consent to immediate delivery and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the content has been delivered. We store your consent with the transaction. Separately, we voluntarily offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — see our refund and cancellation policy.

    Payment via Paddle

    Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

    Trip planner

    The trip planner generates itineraries using automated systems. Generated content is provided as suggestions and starting points — not guaranteed bookings or confirmed reservations. Restaurant names, hotel recommendations, and activity details are automated-generated and should be verified independently before booking.

    Accounts

    Creating an account is free and lets you save automated-generated trips. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or are used to abuse the automated generation service.

    Intellectual property

    All itinerary content, route designs, and written material on Wander Astray are our intellectual property. Purchased trip plans are licensed for personal use only — you may not resell, redistribute, or publish them without written permission. Automated-generated trips you create are yours to use personally.

    Liability

    Wander Astray provides digital itineraries and suggestions. We are not a tour operator or booking platform, and we do not sell flights, hotels, car hire or package holidays — you book directly with the providers, and the contract for those travel services is between you and them. We don't assume liability for travel disruptions, road conditions, park closures, or any other circumstances beyond our control. Travel is inherently unpredictable — our itineraries are guides, not guarantees.

    We may update these terms as our services evolve. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of Wander Astray after changes constitutes acceptance.
