Art for the Poor returns this 2015 on Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th. Art for the Poor is a yearly block party and sale that allows art aficionados the chance to acquire art work from over 100 established and up-and-coming artists. Collections include paintings, photographs, ceramics, jewelry, fashion and more. Enjoy artwork, live music and local food trucks.
The block party-style art show and sale is located at the Crane Arts Building. Proceeds generated from the ticket sales for the annual preview party are split 50/50 between InLiquid and the AIDS fund.
Get a sneak peek of the available artwork during the Friday Night Preview (June 13), a ticketed event which includes an open bar, tasty snacks and live music. Half of the proceeds go towards the AIDS Fund.
There will also be a preview party on Friday June 12, 5:30–9pm. The preview party allows avid art collectors, fans of participating artists, and the public to take pleasure in a sneak peak of the weekend’s festivities and be among the first to purchase work, all while supporting InLiquid and AIDS Fund and enjoying food and light entertainment. In addition to a meet-and-greet with the artist vendors, sip-and-sample handcrafted spirits by our drink vendors, including Siembra Spirits Tequila, Whistle Pig Rye Whiskey, Tito’s Vodka, Rowhouse Spirits Gin, and beer by Philadelphia Brewing Company. Live performances by Gunnar Montana and Disco Hootenanny.
