Almost made my own pizza at Pietro’s Pizza

After a long day of annoyingly unmemorable events, we stopped by suburban station for a monthly Septa pass, the Apple store for an overpriced Macbook air charger to replace my defective one, and finally Pietro’s Pizza for some outdoor dining. Pietro’s Pizza is located right next to my favorite clothing store, yet I had never dined there. (Which actually makes sense because I used to spend all my money at Madewell.)

Anyway, we trotted over to Pietro’s Pizza for some ‘za. They let you create your own pizza; so we started designing feta cheese and mushroom on a margarita with mozzarella, tomato and basil. Then I chickened out and ordered an artisan Barese Pizza instead. And I did not regret that decision one bit. We each had a drink and chowed down on some coal oven pizza topped with spicy pork sausage, hot pesto, tomato sauce, basil, and mozzarella.

Pietro Barese Pizza

The Barese pizza was delicious and burning hot to my liking. I did a little tour of Madewell afterwards, but the credit card remained uncharged.
