After some shopping at the biggest mall in America, the boy and I stopped at the Shake Shack in King of Prussia for some food and drinks. No beer this time, but the boy ordered the SmokeShack, while I opted for the ShackBurger. We also split an order of crinkle cut fries and peanut butter shake. Having been to Shake Shack twice before, this was my first time getting a shake. It was yummy, but I was glad to share it because it was too sweet to finish alone.

Introducing the ShackBurger, a cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato and “ShackSauce”, whatever that is.
Both the burgers were delicious. I preferred my ShackBurger because it came with lettuce and tomatoes, but the SmokeShack had a great hint of cherry pepper and applewood smoked bacon. The crinkle cut fries were slightly salted, so ketchup is unnecessary.
The service at the King of Prussia location definitely beats out the one in Center City. We were even offered some free samples. The other two shacks in the area include one in Center City and another one in University City. As far as fast food burgers go, Shake Shack does a mighty fine job. Visit when you want some fast, moderately priced burgers, sweet milkshakes, an unpretentious atmosphere, and beer to boot.
